John Blackham

John Blackham, CEO
During thirty years in high-tech industry, John has established two software companies - XSOL and Fact International, a global ERP software business acquired by Geac.  John as been a member of the ICT Task Force, a founder of NZ Software Association and NZ Intellectual Capital Foundation (NZInC), plus a member of the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Science and Innovation Advisory Council. Currently, John is one of New Zealand's three representatives on APEC's Business Advisory Council where he co-chairs the Technology Committee.   

Pete Maung

Peter Maung, COO
Peter is responsible for XSOL’s operations. In an extensive career in the IT industry Peter has driven organisational growth and service delivery in a number of fast growing IT environments. Prior to joining XSOL Peter was Group Operations Manager for Optimation. He has had many years in the ERP industry, as ERP Business Manager at Eagle Technologies and as R&D Manager for Fact International, working with John. His experience spans a wide range of industries including banking, insurance, transportation, government, health, telecommunications, manufacturing and distribution.

Richard Barnett

Richard Barnett, Business Development
Richard manages XSOL’s Business Development and Marketing Activities. His career encompasses over 17 years in the IT and Communications industry, and several years before that in the commercial arena. Richard has extensive experience in the process of building markets for technology – working with customers and suppliers to realise the value of new products and services. He was a foundation member of the Retail Industry Centre at ICL New Zealand, then in 1989 moved to Datacraft where he led the Marketing and Business Development thrust into the rapidly growing arena of IP networks and applications.

Murray Willis



Murray Willis, Finance
Murray is responsible for Finance and Administration at XSOL. He is a specialist in business and financial consulting, with a particular focus on chief executive mentoring, business planning and organizational strategy.
He is a chartered accountant and was previously a Partner in Ernst & Young working in the areas of business start-ups, and mergers and acquisitions. His career has involved four years working in Australia and the UK.
