First customer goes live - November 01, 2001

The first customer of XSOL Limited, a leading software developer of Business Process Management software, went live with the XSOL system today. Plytech, an importer/exporter of high-quality plywood, turned off their legacy CBA system and turned on XSOL two hours later. The changeover had required a minimum of preparation - parallel running between the two systems had occurred over the previous month, and 2 days of training had taken care of upskilling the Plytech staff.



Release 1.0 of product announced - August 01, 2001

XSOL Limited has released version 1.0 of its XSOL Intelligent Process Manager. After three years of Research and Development, XSOL has landed a product capable of rapidly replicating the business functionality of existing Enterprise System applications to provide a seamless path to a new generation of Enterprise Systems based entirely on real-life business processes. The XSOL Intelligent Process Manager is set to be installed at XSOL’s first customer site, Plytech, in November.

Patent application submitted - April 01, 2001

XSOL Limited, a leading software developer of Business Process Management software, has submitted a patent to the New Zealand Patent Office for Enterprise System Logic (ESL). ESL is a unique way of defining all business activity using generic business terminology. This separates software programming from the definition of business systems, and will allow the XSOL Intelligent Process Manager product to create customized Business Process Management without a programming team. The unique value of this intellectual property has led to the patent application.



Additional funding round of $1.6 million secured - March 01, 2001

XSOL Limited announced today that it has secured an additional $NZ1.6 million in second round funding. The funding will go towards the continuing development of the XSOL Intelligent Process Manager, a software package that will allow rapid replication of the business functionality of existing Enterprise System applications, and large cost savings through the removal of custom programming, while catering for the unique business needs of each client.
